Hidden in a secret valley

The Dragon Temple is found where you least expect it – in the heart of Solbacka Eco village between Turku and Helsinki.

Here is untouched forest and numerous lakes, as well as the rich cultural heritage village of Fagervik.

It is truly a place to re-connect with Nature and let go of all the city stress.

The story so far

When we co-founded Solbacka Eco village, we realized that this is an ideal place to recharge and experience Nature. A place to do the inner work to transform old patterns and wounds, in order to trust and enjoy life more.

We started building the infrastructure to make this possible, and after 13 years we are still at it, building houses and spaces for people to enjoy.

The Dragon Temple is completed and already in use for community events, dance, and retreats, and we have started building a big utility house with a big common kitchen, dining space, and accommodation for our community and retreats.

A number of small huts have been built and the plan is to make more.

We have also created a beautiful garden with enough food for many people.

Moving forward while staying present

 Our vision is to stay connected to everyday life and allow The Dragon Temple to grow into its full potential. We are creating a place for people to explore together what it means to have a happy life, full of moments of Happiness as well as surprises and challenges. A community of Heart warriors sharing everyday life.

How do we dare to enjoy? How do we find real inspiration? How do we choose to create? How do we listen to and learn to trust our Hearts? How do we mirror ourselves into the realities of others, while staying connected to our own life experience?

We believe the key is to fully embrace everyday life, choosing the actions that support ourselves, our community, and eventually, the actions that help create a better world for everyone. It is like throwing a stone into the lake and watching the energy rippling outwards, unstoppable…..
